This blog will play a central role in our course:
* Presenters will post blog assignments on Sundays (for Tuesday presentations) and Tuesdays (for Thursday presentations) before midnight. Presenters are encouraged to post on the topic of their presentation and reference the blog conversation (if possible) during their presentation.
* On class days on which no presentation is scheduled, class will begin with the blog and the conversations going on here.

* I will regularly post questions and things to look out for in the reading(s) as well as a selection of videos and music videos, songs, and links to other materials or documents.
* If you would like to contribute links, songs, or videos you can do so in an extra credit Reflection post. Up to 2 of these posts can count toward your overall participation grade (10% of your final grade).
* You can also earn extra credit by responding with 150+ words to blog assignments, my posts, or Reflection posts 10 times within the semester (through May 6th). 6 responses are the minimum required.
If you encounter any problems using the blog, send me an email, chat with me on Google Chat on Tuesdays from 2-4, or talk to me after class on Thursday, during office hours, or by appointment.
